Part-Time Elementary Music Specialist
About iSing Girlchoir of Silicon Valley
iSing, founded in 2013 by Jennah Delp Somers and Shane Troll, is an international award winning arts organization of 300 singers based in Palo Alto committed to the music education of girls in grades 1–12. We believe that singing teaches young people to strive for excellence, to work collaboratively with others, and to become passionate members of their communities. iSing is "just for girls" because we want to encourage girls to develop their potential as leaders, creators, and performers through music. iSing’s three choirs for elementary school-aged children—Minis, Melodics, and Harmonics—use Orff and Kodaly methodology to build skills and teach basic vocal technique.
